Modern life is becoming more hectic by the minute. How on earth do you find time to stay fit and healthy when your mobile phone probably has more free minutes than you do? At David Lloyd Leisure we've got the answer.

The perfect solution

We've had years of experience helping people stay fit and healthy, no matter how demanding their lifestyle. In fact, more people achieve their goals at David Lloyd Leisure than at any other health and fitness group. We've got some great ideas to help you get, and stay, in shape. Several classes that only last for 45 minutes so you can be in and out in an hour, for example. Opening first thing in the morning and not closing until last thing at night so you can pop in before or after work.

Get on track

Of course, it's not just accessibility that makes us the best health and fitness club for you. We work hard to make sure you always get the most from your time. When you become a member, the first thing you'll do is sit down with one of our team and work out a training programme. Then it's off to have a look around our world-class facilities.

Down to business

Our indoor and outdoor pools are good. Really good. We keep them to the highest standards and you'll always find dedicated swimming lanes open. We're quite happy to let you get on with it straight away, but if you'd like some tips on improving your technique we can lend a hand there too. It's easy to arrange a one-to-one session with any of our ASA approved instructors.


A great workout

Our gym facilities are fantastic. You'll find all of the most up-to-date equipment to help keep you in shape. If you'd like some guidance, our instructors are fully trained to help - the National Academy Of Sports Medicine recently described our training as "world class". Or you might like to take a look at our outstanding range of group health and fitness classes - go in search of inner calm with yoga, burn away some stress with Body PumpTM or punch yourself fit with Boxercise. We've got something for everyone.

Advantage you

Tennis is a great way to get in shape and we have plenty of indoor and outdoor courts. It doesn't matter if you've never picked up a racquet before - our Lawn Tennis Association approved coaches can work wonders and our activities mean you can play against people of a similar skill level. Or you might just want to have a knockabout with friends. If you're feeling confident, join in our tennis league or sign up for one of our tournaments.

Room to relax

You'd be wrong to think it's all hard work though. A sit in the spa or steam room can be exactly what you need, or maybe a massage or haircut at our luxury health and beauty salon would make you feel better. Sometimes the best reward after a good workout is an ice cold beer or a glass of wine in the bar.

Get together

It's not difficult to make new friends at David Lloyd Leisure either. Our training clubs help like-minded people get together and, well, train. And when you've finished working out, why not go for dinner? Our club rooms serve good, nutritionally balanced food so you can always eat a healthy meal.
